After dark, the forest tells a magical story.

Lumi SkyWalk is a story you experience, walking through the forest along our Treetop Canopy Walk.  

The forest doesn’t just light up, it comes alive around you. As you move through the treetops at your own pace, the story plays out around you, with surprises and delights throughout.

You’ll meet the creatures that live in our enchanted forest and immerse yourself in their story.

The gentle walk is ideal for any age, making this the perfect family outing and a new holiday tradition in Virginia Beach.

But the night doesn’t end when the story does.  You’ll have access to the spiral Nautilus Tower to enjoy the view from above.  And visitors 7+ can take a thrilling night time ride down The Whorl Slide. 

Join us on Wednesday mornings for an educational and unique guided walk through Owl Creek Landing.  Your guide, Brett, will cover a variety of topics, including:

• Wildlife that inhabit VB and the Owl Creek Landing property
• VB’s key position for migrating birds
• The importance of marshland as a habitat

You’ll walk with Brett throughout Owl Creek Landing looking for birds and talking about their main food sources in Owl Creek.

As you wind through the Treetop Trail Canopy Walk, the conversation will turn to the trees and native plants that are the foundation for a healthy ecosystem.

Finally, the tour will conclude on the Forest Trail for an up-close look at the smaller and less beloved, but hugely important, life on the forest floor, including insects, spiders, and fungi.

This guided walk is included in the price of admission and will last approximately 1 hour.

Friday mornings are made for the littles!  Toddler Friday is the perfect low-key outing for your smallest adventurers — and the best part? Accompanying adults get in FREE with a paid toddler ticket (ages 3-6).*

Join Fully Alive at Owl Creek Landing for a one-of-a-kind outdoor workout that combines fitness, fresh air, adventure, and a whole lot of fun.

We’ll get moving with a Fully Alive-led workout in one of Virginia Beach’s most unique outdoor destinations, and then comes the best part: The Whorl, the longest steel slide in America!

This isn’t about crushing yourself with another hard workout. It’s about moving your body, trying something different, connecting with your community, and remembering that fitness can actually be FUN.

Come ready to move, laugh, challenge yourself, and maybe feel like a kid again for a morning.
