Lumi SkyWalk is a story you experience, walking through the forest along our Treetop Canopy Walk.
The forest doesn’t just light up, it comes alive around you. As you move through the treetops at your own pace, the story plays out around you, with surprises and delights throughout.
You’ll meet the creatures that live in our enchanted forest and immerse yourself in their story.
The gentle walk through light show is ideal for any age, making this the perfect family outing and a new holiday tradition for Hampton Roads.
But the night doesn’t end when the story does. You’ll have access to the spiral Nautilus Tower to enjoy the view from above. And visitors 7+ can take a thrilling night time ride down The Whorl Slide.
Groups and Private Events
Lumi SkyWalk is built for a special night out. Bring the office holiday party, your faith group, or the whole extended family, and let everyone walk the same story together under the trees. Our Groups Sales team is here to book your group of 15 or more.
For larger groups or a night that’s just yours, private buyouts are available, so the forest can belong entirely to your group for the evening.

When will tickets be available?
Tickets are now on sale for the November 20 – January 3 holiday period!
Capacity is limited and popular dates will sell out quickly. Book your Lumi SkyWalk tickets now.
What does the Lumi SkyWalk ticket include?
The Lumi SkyWalk tickets include the animated story walk through the Treetop Canopy Walk.

Can we buy tickets onsite or do we need to book ahead?
We highly recommend that you book ahead for the Lumi SkyWalk to ensure that there is availability at your desired date and time.
Due to the capacity of the Treetop Canopy Walk, availability will be limited within timeslots to ensure the best guest experience.
Can I use my ticket on any night of the Lumi SkyWalk?
You will need to choose a specific date and time when you purchase your tickets.

What ages is this appropriate for?
The Lumi SkyWalk is appropriate for all ages. It is a gentle walk with a story created to appeal to young children and adults alike.
The walk is stroller friendly, but strollers must be 2 feet wide or less for the Lumi SkyWalk on the Treetop Canopy Trail.
Please note that the minimum age to ride The Whorl Slide is 7 years old.
Is the Lumi SkyWalk ticket included in the All Access Annual Pass?
Yes! The Lumi SkyWalk is included in All Access Annual Pass membership.
Do discounts or special offers apply to Lumi SkyWalk?
No, discounts and special offers/programs (including Museums for All) apply to General Admission tickets only.
Combo tickets (Owl Creek Landing/The Adventure Park) are not valid for the Lumi SkyWalk.
How long does it take to walk around the path?
The Lumi SkyWalk is designed to be enjoyed in approximately 45-60 minutes. Depending on your show time, we encourage you to come early or stay late to also explore the Nautilus Tower and The Whorl Slide (ages 7+).
Will any areas of Owl Creek Landing be closed during the Lumi SkyWalk?
The Children’s Treehouse Village and Mira’s Acorn Run are closed during the Lumi SkyWalk. The Nautilus Tower and The Whorl Slide are open.
Is the Lumi SkyWalk ADA accessible?
While the Nautilus Tower is fully ADA accessible, only a portion of the Lumi SkyWalk is ADA compliant due to narrowing and steepening of the path in some portions.
We do not recommend the Lumi SkyWalk for visitors requiring full ADA accessibility.
What is the weather policy?
Owl Creek Landing is open rain or shine, but in the event of severe weather conditions, including thunderstorms, threat of lightning or high winds, we may not be able to operate.
