You will check in at the base of the Nautilus Tower at Owl Creek Landing.  To get to the Nautilus Tower, please follow the paved path from the left of the South Building and take the pedestrian bridge across Owl Creek.  See our Directions and Parking page for more information details

We recommend sturdy shoes that are comfortable to walk in. For your safety, high heels/stilettos are not permitted on the Nautilus Tower due to the size of the flooring grates. We also recommend pants or shorts, as the flooring grates are see-through to visitors below you.

You are welcome to bring coolers and food for your visit. However, seating at Owl Creek Landing is limited. You may want to bring camp chairs or a picnic blanket for your comfort. Beverages and snacks are also available for purchase. No grills or glass is permitted on property.

Please leave your pets at home.  While we love animals, only service dogs are permitted. No other dogs are allowed per Aquarium rules.

• No climbing, sitting or leaning over the railings
• No throwing of objects or debris
• Children under 14 must be accompanied by an adult
• Respect the trees – do not peel, mark or harm them
• Stay on designated paths
• Do not feed the wildlife
• Obey Staff instructions
• No dogs are allowed per Aquarium rules, only service dogs are permitted
• Carry out all objects you bring in, including trask
• No glass or grills
• No smoking/vaping
• Drones are not permitted on the property
• Do not carry children on your shoulders when walking on the Tower or Canopy Walk

• Minimum Age: 10 years old
• Keep all objects secure in a zippered front pocket.
• All riders MUST use a mat. One person per sliding mat.
• Lie in the mat with feet securely in the footmuff and hold the tether with both hands.
• Please wait at the slide entrance when the light is red.
• Only proceed when the light turns green.
• Keep arms and elbows close to the body.
• Do not try to brake or stop in the slide.
• Clear the slide immediately at the end of your ride.
• Disorientation possible. Be careful when standing up at the end of the ride.
• Sliding under the influence of alcohol or drugs is prohibited.

Please note that, for the safety of our guests, we are not able to operate The Whorl Slide if there is any precipitation, even if we are still open.
